Libraries Contribute to Student Success

Sixty different projects from a variety of academic institutions across North America show strong evidence of the positive contributions of academic libraries to student learning and success in four key areas:

  1. Students benefit from library instruction in their initial coursework.
  2. Library use increases student success.
  3. Collaborative academic programs and services involving the library enhance student learning.
  4. Information literacy instruction strengthens general education outcomes.

Library Exhibit Cases Available for YOU

Have you seen the two exhibit cases outside of the library? We are seeking faculty, staff and students who are interested in creating displays for those cases. The cases are a great way to capture an audience for your programs, courses, initiatives, projects, groups and/or ideas. If you are interested in creating a display, please visit the Circulation Desk and ask for the exhibit case proposal form to complete the process.
